Step One: REGISTER

First please read all rules and FAQs

  • TEAM LEADERS:
    Name your team when you register. Then have your team members register under your team name. (Teams can be no larger than 10 people). If your team meets the team goal, your charity will receive a portion of the proceeds.
  • TEAM MEMBERS:
    Register under your team name.
  • INDIVIDUALS NOT ON A TEAM:
    You may register under “Individual Participant” and not be obligated to a team. (If you would like to be on a team but don’t have one, you may email tracy@mamboroomdance.com to be placed on a team).

 

Step Two: RAISE DONATIONS

Once registered, each participant will have a donation button on the team page. Contact your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and others to sponsor you through your donate button or with cash/check. They may donate a flat amount or sponsor you per hour that you dance. For example, if your friend sponsors your team with $2 per hour, their donation would be $24. If you know of a business who would like to sponsor the event, corporate sponsorships are available and will go towards your total that counts towards prizes. You must raise a minimum of $100 to participate, but the more you raise, the more you help.


 

Step Three: DANCE!

Come to the Dance-a-thon and dance, dance, dance! One of your team members must be dancing the whole time. Don’t worry, we will have breaks and plenty of refreshments. Throughout the day, there will be lessons, performances, raffles and lots of fun!
